St. Edward's Junior Church meet in the hall on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. All children are welcome in the church hall on Sunday mornings, except for the first Sunday in each month which is the Family Service, when all the children gather in church for the service. In addition, Junior Church does not meet during the month of August and may have a Christmas break.
Children of approx. 3 years of age & upwards, attend Junior Church. We usually sing, pray, have a bible story and do a relevant activity e.g. colouring, drawing, cooking, craft & games.
Mums and Dads are welcome to sit in with us to feed a baby, and babies and toddlers are welcome to move between the service and hall with their parent if they become very restless or noisy.
We all move into church at Communion time for a blessing or to receive communion, and we remain in church until the end of the service. We usually sit together at the front of church.
