A wonderful week I can't express how much I have enjoyed and received from this week.

When we entered St. Edwards it should have prepared us as you had turned the church completely round. Each night the Church was completely transformed and was so beautiful with flowers and drapes. The statue of Our Lady with child were beautiful, but when we saw the Cross and our Lord - what can you say, it just kept getting better and we did not think that could possibly happen. Your flower team pulled out all the stops and the flowers each night complimented the theme and were so lovely. The testimonies were so open and honest and the readings so fitting. The candles and the closing each night were so moving. What amazing priests Fr Philip and Fr Robin were. How they could talk so long and completely without notes and yet it never seemed any time. It was so silent you really could have heard a pin drop......Even the jokes seemed to bond us. There was a wonderful spirit between everyone and it was a privilege to be part of St Edwards family and we were very appreciative of the warmth of everyone's welcome.'

'How blessed we are at St Edward's. What a fabulous week! Josh and Joe to welcome us were so courteous. No big fuss, just calmly getting on with the tasks that were set them. Brilliant young men.'

Thanks for all your hard work before and during Fan the Flame - now for lots of hard work after it. St Edward's is very fortunate to have found a team with so much energy, talent and good will. I am sure that - the mission week will have a permanent effect on the congregation and parish and that all the faith and vitality the week have unleashed will not at all be wasted. Night after night the setting was wonderful and everyone who did anything came forward and did it well and the flower arrangement were astonishingly wonderful! I shall be thinking of you and praying for you a lot in the next few months. The parish will be richly blessed through your efforts. With every good wish. Fr Robin.

So many of us have gained in a huge variety of ways. St Edward's was great, but this surpassed all expectations.

To feel the power of God's presence in this building was an overwhelming experience. And I learnt that there is a lot more to this family than you see on the surface - week by week - and this must be true of others we meet too. It was good to be reminded of just how much Jesus truly suffered for us - and to realise anew just how deep that love and grace towards us is. I pray the depth and unity of that week can continue into a bright hopeful future.

THE WHOLE EXPERIENCE WAS LIFE CHANGING.

It has been a wonderful time - lots of teaching, fellowship and fun and a week we shall long remember............

What wonderful drapes and 'props' and lighting and flowers/plants which really enhanced the themes and provided a wonder focus each evening. I found it really reassuring and helpful to be able to leave my sins and concerns at the foot of the cross in the form of a heavy pebble. Thank you all so much for a wonderful week and for putting in so much hard work for the rest of us. Thank you GOD.
