Preliminary details for baptisms at St. Edward's are taken at the Parish Office in St. Edward's church on a Monday evening between 6.00 p.m and 7.00 p.m. (except bank holidays)
The birth of a new baby brings much joy. Few parents reach the birth of their child without having thought long and hard about their responsibilities towards the baby and his or her future. We are sure that you feel it is right to approach your baby's baptism in the same way.
To help you understand and face up to the responsibilities involved with the baptism of your baby, St. Edward's run a short informal baptism course over two evening. During the course you will watch two short dvd presentation which goes through what baptism is and will go through the service and answer any questions which you may have.
Baptisms usually take place at 12 noon on the last Sunday of each month.
